Wow, what an afternoon. After busying myself all morning with chores and errands to run I found myself running late for some "me" time with my friend, Diane. She too was bombarded, in a nice way, with diversions which meant our meeting up was getting later and later. We are so happy to see each other and so positive in our thinking, that the problems of getting together later than intended immediately became a distant memory once sitting sipping hot chocolate by a log fire.
We talked and reminisced, caught up on mutual memories and enjoyed each other's company away from the hustle and bustle that is our lives! We both love our respective families deeply, but found the feeling of our friendship exhilarating, likened to being young and free.
We mutually respected the time we spent together but, for me, because the opportunity comes along very rarely was extra special.
Thank you Diane, for making this afternoon one I will add to My Happy Place!
